eHealth Week 2017

PAVILIONS

Country Pavilions

eHealth Week is the perfect context for policy-makers, industry representatives and practitioners to meet and exchange perspectives. Country pavilions will host a network of various stakeholders (government agencies, public health institutions, micro-SMEs and startups in the ICT sector) who will showcase the state of play of their national health systems, their solutions and/or pilot initiatives but will also learn how to apply best-practices, generate business, and forge partnerships with external suppliers and subcontractors, as many of the resources for developing eHealth products are not available locally.

A pavilion is an exhibit where a country/region coordinates a group of public and private sector stakeholders together on the exhibition floor. To be considered for participation the following must be agreed upon:

  • Letter of request from organiser detailing requirements for their pavilion
  • Pavilion size cannot be greater than 16sqm
  • There is a fee attached to the opportunity and it is at the discretion of each delegation on how they fundraise to cover it
  • Only micro-SMEs and start-ups* are allowed to join the pavilion as representatives from the industry
  • A signed contract from organiser will be required indicating the pavilion size along with an appropriate deposit
  • Organiser will be the liaison person between HIMSS Europe and co-exhibitors
  • Organiser will be in charge of the distribution of package benefits to co-exhibitors
  • Organiser will supply HIMSS Europe with co-exhibitor listn before the printed deadline
  • Organiser will receive an allotment of badges per the square meter rented
  • Organiser will need to let HIMSS Europe know how to break out the allotment of badges to give to each co-exhibitor and self

EU Project Pavilions

eHealth Week welcomes stakeholders from across the globe to address international hot topics related to healthcare IT, including "Cross-border exchange of personal health data: from policy to practice", "European Reference Networks: how digital health helps", "Ageing well with eHealth: New initiatives and policy", "Women in Health IT" and much more.

One of our primary aim is to showcase how EU funded projects and cross-border cooperation have led to the scaling up of innovation and the sustainable transformation of European healthcare. For this we have created EU project pavilions where entire ecosystems of key stakeholders from different countries/regions will be showcasing the results and best-practices to attendees ranging from patients and hospital staff to high level policy-makers and industry representatives. We place the spotlight on SMEs and start-ups and offer an interactive platform for their enhanced immersion in the eHealth industry.
